Central Florida’s gourmands and food enthusiasts will rejoice and indulge at The Table, a new upscale “Supper Club” located on Central Florida’s popular “restaurant row.”
Historically, supper clubs were known as groups of friends who gathered at one’s residence where the homeowner cooked a meal of their choosing. These supper clubs were more social gatherings than a venue for eating, enjoying, and discussing food and drink. The Table is today’s modern version of a supper club, offering guests an elegant and exclusive evening with limited seating at a singular table, similar to a dinner party. And it’s the first of its kind to open in Central Florida.
The Table will feature New American Cuisine during a 5-course chef’s choice food and wine pairing with high quality, seasonally inspired dishes that change daily to reflect the freshest products available. Locally grown ingredients are made available through their strong relations with local farmers and markets.
The creators behind this unique concept are Chef Tyler Brassil and Chef Loren Falsone. As husband and wife, and each strong chefs in their own right, they love dazzling each other with sumptuous foods and new techniques in cooking. They equally enjoy caring for their friends and family with deliciously prepared meals. The Table was born from this concept.
“We are a group of close friends with a mélange of skills but with the same love and passion for hospitality, camaraderie and gastronomy,” said Loren Falsone, co-chef/owner. “The Table was a concept that stemmed from our elaborate dinner parties that we prepared together. Opening this idea to the Central Florida community in a restaurant-like “supper club” format was a natural transition for us.”
Throughout the years, Loren and Tyler have both received several accolades for their cooking. Bertoli Olive Oil once nominated Tyler as Top 10 Best Sous Chefs in the country. And in 2000, Loren was named Food & Wine Magazine’s Top 10 Chef. This talented couple went on to receive recognition in other national publications including Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Bon Appetite, and more. In 2004, Orlando Magazine named Loren Top Female Chef. At that time, Loren had taken on the role of executive chef for Darden Restaurants’ Seasons 52.
Loren has had the pleasure of cooking with some of the culinary greats such as the late Julia Child and Barbara Tropp, as well as Lidia Bastianich, Wolfgang Puck and Mario Batali.
Today, Loren and Tyler share their experiences and expertise as instructors at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Orlando, Florida. And when they’re not busy inspiring students and sharing their culinary expertise, you will find Tyler and Loren preparing exceptional dishes at The Table.
Dinner reservations are currently available on Friday and Saturday nights only.
