America will celebrate Veterans Day on Friday, November 11th this year, and many restaurant chains will be offering discounts and free meals to veterans and active duty military in appreciation for their service.

To help get the word out, RestaurantNews.com has rounded up a list of these restaurant offerings.  Unless otherwise noted, these offerings are valid only on Veterans Day, November 11th.  Be sure to check back often as we will continue updating the list.

Keep in mind, most Veteran appreciation offers:

  • Require proof of military service
  • Are dine-in only
  • Do not include alcohol
  • Can not be used with other coupons or discounts
  • Do not include gratuity

54th Street
Free meal up to $12.  Dine-in only.

Abuelo’s will donate $1 from every order of Chile con Queso  to support Homes for Our Troops.  Monday, November 7 through Friday, November 11, 2016.

Acapulco Restaurant and Cantina
From 11am – 10pm, all active and retired military personnel can select one complimentary item from a special Veterans Day menu featuring: 2-item combo, Carnitas, Grilled Chicken Fajitas, Grilled Steak Fajitas, Mahi Mahi, Enchiladas Suizas, Asada Burrito or Tacos de la Calle.

American Steakhouse
10% off entree.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza
Complimentary small order of Meatballs with Ricotta Cheese.  In addition, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza restaurants will be dropping off complimentary lunch to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Centers in the brand’s regions throughout Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Applebee’s
Free meal.  Choices include Butcher’s Meat and Potatoes, Oriental Chicken Salad, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp, Three-Cheese Chicken Penne or the American Standard All-In Burger.  All current and former military personnel will also receive a $5 coupon that can be redeemed between November 12 and November 27, 2016.

Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar
All veterans and troops will receive one complimentary item from a fixed menu including some of Arooga’s favorites such as their famous Crab Pretzel, Buffalo Pretzel, Arooga’s Chopped Salad, Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad,  Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, Wagyu Cheeseburger, Wagyu Grilled Dog, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Grilled Cheese and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup, Spicy Italian Wrap or Sub, Original Boli, and, of course, their world famous boneless wings (10) tossed in any one of their more than 30 sauce creations.

The special menu includes an Oldtimer with Cheese, Soup & Salad, Chicken Crispers and a Chipotle Chicken or Margherita Flatbread.
