Successful Original Concept Continues Expansion in Metro-New York Area
Ramsey, NJ (RestaurantNews.com) The Shannon Rose, New Jersey’s most popular Irish Pub grand opened its third and newest location in Ramsey, New Jersey today.
After opening their first location in Clifton in 2007 and second location in Woodbridge in 2009, both with great success, Allendale, NJ-based Doherty Enterprises chose Bergen County as a perfect location to bring neighbors, new and old, together for great Irish food, drink, music and great conversation.
“This is a successful original concept that has done very well in New Jersey,” says Tim Doherty, Vice President of Development. “In this challenging economic environment, we’re growing and we continue to look for additional key properties to help grow this concept and spread a little ‘Dublin’ throughout the Metro-New York area.”
From the brightly-themed red pub shop exterior architecture to the two impressive large bars that stretch nearly the length of the 7,500 sq. ft. restaurant, each designed in a traditional Irish pub style, guests feel as though they are in Ireland. The restaurant has three-hundred and thirty seats and features a semi-private dining area that allows guests to have a more intimate dinner or host a special private event such as a family or corporate gathering. Sports are featured at the pub on large HDTV flat-screens located throughout the rooms with a multitude of sports channels including international sports, as well as two dart boards for guests to enjoy. During warmer months, the patio will provide outdoor dining centered by a large firepit and surrounded by beautiful landscaping.
The Shannon Rose offers a full menu including traditional Irish favorites like homemade Shepherds’ Pie and Guinness Beef Stew as well as award-winning pub classics such as pulled pork & Reuben sandwiches, sliders, chicken, grilled steak, fish of the day and the famous Shannon Rose Burger, voted “Best Burger” by the Clifton Journal. The Shannon Rose offers twenty beers on tap including Irish standouts like Guinness, Harp and Smithwick’s, other popular imports, regional craft beers and domestic favorites.
